WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated person interested in furthering their career in the Transportation field. The successful candidate will work on projects from design/bid/build projects to design build. The candidate has opportunities to work on exciting projects nationwide, with a focus on the overall Texas market with an emphasis on TxDOT.

The successful candidate may:

  • Managing all aspects of Transportation design projects from conceptual and preliminary engineering to final design;

  • Coordinating the planning and execution of project tasks, managing project staff, scheduling and budgetary oversight;

  • Maintaining positive client relationships; and

  • Developing and/or coordinating responses to RFQs and RFPs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • BSCE in Civil or Transportation engineering from an ABET accredited college or university

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas

  • At least 15 years’ with direct experience with TxDOT Policies and Procedures.

  • At least 10 years’ experience in Hydrology and Hydraulic Studies and Design.

  • At least 5 year with experience in marketing, proposal preparation, and client relations.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.

  • Experience with GEOPAK Drainage, Winstorm, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, XP-SWMM, HY-8, or other related programs is required.

  • The selected candidate MUST be able to work in the United States immediately, without sponsorship.
