Utilizing analytical and data management tools, performs advanced level data creation, management, analysis and troubleshooting activities in support of multiple research projects and studies. Performs statistical analyses associated with the quality of data for research projects.

POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for managing/maintaining data for multiple research grants and all academic and non-academic programs of the SWCOEH.
Assists in the design, development, testing and implementation of data from source systems (including Learning Management Systems) to application systems.
Creates, supports, and troubleshoots tools or software used to manage data. Performs quality assurance functions for the development, testing and modification of software applications. Writes Standard Operating Procedures manuals and other technical documentation.
Designs database queries and compiles, analyzes, and reports statistical data related to data quality for research projects and all academic and non-academic SWCOEH programs. Assists in the preparation of reports and data tables for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in developing e-learning capacity. Update SWCOEH web page and resolve issues and problems that arise with the website. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field.
Four years of experience with complex databases. May substitute required experience with equivalent years of education beyond the minimum education requirement.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Detailed knowledge of query design, report creation, and graphic representations of data.
Knowledge and experience managing complex databases.
Sound knowledge of MS Access, Excel and statistical software (e.g., SAS, STATA or SPSS).
Commensurate with experience
This position works with Houston Independent School District (H.I.S.D.) students.
This position works with minors under the age of 18 years.
This position will be working in a laboratory or clinic
