Position Description/Job Responsibilities
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Reports to KBR’s Senior Counsel, Anti-Corruption Compliance, Legal Dept
Provides advice throughout KBR relating to FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), other applicable anti-corruption laws and KBR’s anti-corruption policies and procedures
Provides guidance on
KBR’s Anti-Corruption Procedures including process for approval of International Commercial Intermediary, Partner and International Services Intermediary to ensure procedures are being followed throughout the company
Reviews third party due diligence packages and drafts memoranda for Chief Compliance Officer and Executive Management review
Manages outside counsel on matters related to Partner and International Commercial Intermediary due diligence
Coordinates annual anti-corruption self-assessment process;
Prepares training materials for and conducts Anti-Corruption Compliance Training, as required;
Coordinates quarterly certification process;
Drafts weekly and quarterly reports for Chief Compliance Officer and other Executive Management;
Patriciates in anti-corruption investigations, as required
Conducts anti-corruption due diligence of potential M&A targets
JD with 5
years Litigation / Regulatory Experience with law firm or in-house
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act)/Anti-Corruption & Compliance experience required
Strong communicator with employees of all levels
Team player with ability to establish and maintain credibility and trust throughout organization
Ability to quickly assimilate information relating to complex issues
Personal and professional maturity
Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Discreet, able to protect confidential information and high degree of integrity
