This business area brings its solutions to market as Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and CT Lien SolutionsThe Product Owner of Software Interfaces and Platform development (PO) will work on defining and executing software solutions for the company’s’ Lien Management business, a line of web-based public records products and services that support financial institutions and other companies’ lending transactions. The Product Owner will drive strategy and development of reusable services and interfaces that support development of new products and services for our financial customers. The PO will work closely with the Director of Product Management, product managers, clients and technology partners to understand product needs and define the necessary interfaces and platform capabilities. The PO will create epics, define user stories and requirements and prioritize project backlogs. The individual will also work with Development/IT, Client Services and Operations to execute the solutions to drive new business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Understand and translate product strategies into detailed requirements for execution by technical, service and operations teams. • Work with Product Management Director and Product Managers to ensure final solutions delivered match product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.• Responsible for the end-to-end customer experience for the features and services s/he delivers and ensures they fit holistically within the broader experience.• Work with a sense of urgency to execute new client segment focused solutions in a fast-paced environment focused on growth.• Consistently prioritize development priorities with feedback and in collaboration with product managers and Product Management Director responsible for overall solutions experiences.• Lead the cross-functional team working on the product feature delivery through influence and facilitative leadership.• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the other Scrum team members – developers, scrum master and testers.• Understand and manage project dependencies and requirements with Operations and Client Services.


Required Qualifications:Education:• Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience: • 3 or more years in product development or management, with demonstrated success in creating and/or improving customer experience• Strong technical and software product development background is necessary• Expertise in Agile development and Scrum methodology required• Experience/understanding of Pragmatic Product Management• Experience delivering B2B software and service solutions• Results and deadline driven• Background defining epics and user stories for B2B software products and services• Track-record of successfully setting scrum team priorities and managing a backlog• Proven ability to translate client needs into requirements which can be understood and acted upon by a diverse cross functional team• Fast learner – embraces learning about new markets and industries• Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles• Strong ability to lead collaborative efforts with cross functional teams• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Solid oral and written communication skills• Must be a good listener and team player• Proficient in use of MSOffice applications• Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Understanding of Uniform Commercial Code, motor vehicle titling or mortgage processing a plus but not required.
