We are seeking a talented, motivated individual ready to be a part of a high performing team in a global environment. This candidate will be supporting the Enterprise Risk Management program for Technology Risk. The ideal candidate is effective communicator, analytical and possesses competency in IT risk, legal, compliance frameworks and an understanding of global regulatory landscapes.
The Technology Risk and Regulatory Lead is responsible for the following:
Monitor new and changing IT regulations, legislation, industry standards and best practices and evaluating applicability to AIG's IT environment
Develop and manage an IT regulatory awareness communications program for AIG in alignment with Global Legal Compliance and Regulatory division
Support Technology Risk Governance programs for deep dives, integrated control function calendars, challenge functions, fraud risk, framework analysis, and other programs, with research, documentation, tracking and monitoring of technology risk activities
Support Technology Risk Governance programs with analysis across business units and programs, frameworks, assessments and provide ad hoc, monthly and quarterly reporting
Provide project and program support, including process improvement, business and data analysis, documentation and/or support for software development life cycle for supporting programs and tools
Provide periodic reports to leadership regarding status, issues and trends identified during ongoing examinations, audits, and assessments as assigned
Bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a JD or related discipline.
5 or more years of experience in IT risk and compliance management or enterprise risk management in general.
Strong understanding of regulatory expectations and leading industry practices required for large, global financial services/insurance institution.
Project management, program management, and IT and Risk frameworks experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
Excellent written and verbal communications, data and process management, effective interpersonal skills, strong formal presentation abilities.
Certified Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), CIPP, CISA, CISM, CISSP or other related certification a plus.
