LyondellBasell Industries Turnaround Lead Planner in Houston, Texas
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for all planning and scheduling activities during all phases of the assigned turnaround.
Driving the work scope development for assigned turnarounds.
Lead Turnaround milestone compliance.
Provide cost estimates for assigned turnarounds.
Provide safe and accurate execution plans and schedules for assigned turnarounds.
Plan and schedule updating and reporting status.
Initiate and maintain purchase requisition for all service vendors.
Coordinate logistics, document controls and the Job Change Order process.
Integrate Goal Zero philosophies and Environmental Stewardship into planning, scheduling and execution activities: Job safety plans, work density/overhead work, critical lifts, contract strategies – vendors with like mind-sets, scaffolding, equipment, selection/placement, emergency response capabilities and job PPE requirements.
Develop and execute turnaround scopes, estimates, work plans and schedules.
Ensure activities are consistent with and aligned with HRO Goal Zero philosophies and Environmental Stewardship.
Evaluate, Coach and develop Turnaround Planners, Schedulers and Document Control resources.
Audit Turnaround plans and schedules ensuring that each plan and schedule is properly reviewed and gaps closed before execution.
Monitor, update and report contractor performance vs. plan and manpower curves.
Ensure that work worker / notification closures are completed.
Ensure Cost Team estimating, reporting and forecasting are integrated into the Turnaround planning and execution work process.
Orchestration of planning, scheduling and execution staff.
Discipline toward use of tools within the Turnaround planning and scheduling system.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Turnaround Planning role.
Supervisor experience a plus.
Strong background in mechanical planning, scheduling and execution along with a basic knowledge of I&E planning, scheduling and execution.
Strong field experience wand safety management skills.
Ability to perform planning and scheduling in Primavera.
Proficiency with MS Office – Excel and Word.
Familiar with SAP PM and MM Modules.
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Self-starter with minimum supervision required.
