Under broad direction and as part of our technical sales team, this role is an evangelist for Landmark solutions, on how Landmark delivers value spanning exploration, development and production. Working with customers, the Industry Solution Executive (ISE) understands the customer's core competency, helps to define their needs and in conjunction with other team members produces a Landmark solution that meets the customer's business objectives. An ISE is an industry expert, the customer value the ISE for their broad subject matter knowledge and experience. The ISE can articulate the value of multiple workflow solutions and services to a wide variety of customers - demonstrating and illustrating how our technology creates material value for their business. Lead, provide design and implementation assistance for “proof of concept” engagements. Supports the Account Manager in pursuing and closing opportunities. Supports the improvement of skill development of team members, partners and customers. Able to lead in-depth technical discussions, as well as talk about technology to non-technical decision makers. Presenter at technical industry events and authors white papers. Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in a related Science discipline (discipline may vary by domain) and a minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the energy software industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Working closely with account managers, marketing and global, develop strategic market approach for Reservoir Engineering solutions including reservoir simulation, natural fracture modeling and completion modeling

  • Working closely with account managers, identify key target clients, develop pursuit plans and execute

  • Building client relationships with key influencers, technology and business owners, uncovering market needs and aligning our solutions

  • Leading technical engagements including presentations, demonstrations and discussions with clients

  • Building internal relationships with R&D, Global and Halliburton PSL’s to leverage expertise and insight

Preferred Technical Experience

  • Practical reservoir simulation experience, working onshore unconventional fields in the USA and Canada, or similar international basins

  • Practical reservoir simulation experience, working offshore fields in US GOM or similar basins

  • 5+ years hands on experience with reservoir simulation technology
