The Global Country Risk Management (GCRM) team at Citigroup is looking for a strong
Program Manager to support its work in generating macroeconomic & financial forecasts of over 6000 variables for a variety of strategic goals, regulatory requirements and all companywide stress tests including the CCAR/DFAST.
Specifically, key elements of the role will involve:
Maintaining the list of commitments that GCRM is accountable
Ensuring the existence of workplans and calendars, in line with Citi guidelines, that will allow GCRM to reach its commitments – these work plans will include accounting for interdependencies with other Citi functions, projects and deadlines
Tracking progress against the work plans and calendars for reporting and to proactively identify any activities that are at risk of delays
Identifying roadblocks and raising them to the GCRM leadership for mitigation
Supporting stakeholder management (e.g. regular internal reporting requirements, preparation of presentations)
Supporting regulatory interactions (e.g., during site visits by supervisory teams, periodic regulatory submissions) through the generation of presentation / submission material and cataloguing any resulting action items
The ideal candidate will be based in Irving, TX, with a minimum of a BA/BS, will be a self-starter who has strong process-management/project management intrinsic and at least three years of experience in a project management role at a large bank or other financial institution. Strong oral, written communication is a must.
A strong background in Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel is a must. A background in economics/ econometrics/finance is helpful but not required; prior experience with regulatory programs will be preferred
