As a Cloud Architect, you are accountable for architecting, designing, & developing cloud delivery models and cloud platform solutions for Citi’s Global Consumer Group.
Container as a Service - Identify and operationalize best container management and orchestration solutions to fit Citi’s workloads.
Perform service delivery platform benchmarks and develop framework for cloud implementations
Define and oversee Application migration initiatives and recommend best fit cloud strategy for Citi’s applications – Private, Public and Hybrid models.
Manage first time engineering / implementation of any cloud based tech stack within GCB
Gather requirements, topology information and deployment details as inputs to virtualize and containerize various applications.
Partner with infrastructure operations, platform optimization, and datacenter operation teams to scope, define, size and execute application onboarding, migration & consolidation initiatives
Develop a Cloud Migration tools framework which can be consumed by various Lines of Businesses within Citi.
Create a dynamic capacity monitoring and allocation solution for Citi’s PaaS and perform capacity planning and forecasting for cloud.
Create and document cloud deployment architectures as needed to maintain up-to-date details on existing infrastructure.
Design security framework for implementing cloud solutions on Public Cloud.
Technical skills required:
Vmware vSphere ESXi, VRA, VRO, NSX, EMC ScaleIO or Openstack technologies
Cloud Foundry (PCF, Bluemix or Helion) or Openshift
Implementing PODs on x86, SDS, SDN, Hyper Converged Infrastructure technologies.
Docker, Mesos, Marathorn, SWARM or Kubernetis
Hardening OS Security and micro firewall implementations.
Experience with large Database systems
Experience with scripting languages
Experience on TIBCO, MQ, Apache, WebSphere, NGNIX, Chef, Puppet etc.
3+ years of experience in architecture, design and implementation of On-Prem, Off-Prem and Hybrid Cloud solutions utilizing vmware, AWS, PCF, Azure or GCP.
Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS):
5 + years of experience with server virtualization and implementation of large production clusters on vmware or OpenStack.
In-depth technical skills in Cloud Infrastructure design, compute, storage and networking implementation
Platform as a Service (PaaS):
Experience with PaaS solutions utilizing CloudFoundry (Pivotal CF, Bluemix, Helion etc) or OpenShift. Experience with Mesosphere DCOS is a plus.
Candidate should have implemented Cloud Solutions on AWS utilizing EC2, S3, IAM, ECS, RDS etc. Experience with designing and architecting serverless computing and implementation using AWS Lambda is a plus. Knowledge with Amazon Alexa would be an added advantage.
Containerization: The candidate must have 2 + years of experience in container based solutions, and its orchestration with Mesos/Marathorn, Kubernetes or Docker SWARM and Docker datacenter components.
Cloud Engineering Design Principles:
Knowledge about RESTful APIs and to architect cloud ready applications.
Hands on engineer with 2+ years of experience conducting proof-of-concept, developing prototype and reference models with Infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with datacenter concepts and best practices, high-availability systems, capacity planning, system performance evaluation, and diagnostic techniques and methodologies.
DevOps: 2+ years of experience with orchestration technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Heat, Zookeeper etc. Experience with Jenkins, RTC, JIRA a plus.
Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and make strategic recommendations to Sr. and Executive Mgmt as well as all levels of internal/external service partners
