Commercial Application Processor -
Evaluate completeness and appropriateness of the application package documentation and coordinate with the Relationship Mangers to satisfy deficiencies.
Enter application timely and accurately into the application processing system.
Perform compliance and regulatory checks, obtain or order UCC and entity searches, tax liens and judgment searches, credit bureau reports, and professional status.
Review new applications and annual review packages to ensure proper segmentation and re-routing applications when appropriate (based on exposure and product type).
Assist with data integrity review and follow up maintenance while identifying opportunities for process improvement to ensure integrity of data.
Support servicing and maintenance requests for existing portfolio clients (advances, BA's, LC's, loan structure modifications, collateral releases).
Monitor and coordinate annual review, quarterly call reporting, and other portfolio monitoring activities, including compliance with escalation requirements.
Support Credit Center staff in coordinating and completing research on individual clients and portfolio matters.

The ideal candidate would possess the following:
Must have worked in a bank or financial service company and handled commercial credit applications.
A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a financial institution with a focus on due diligence and entity documentation.
An Associate degree (or equivalent experience) in business, accounting, or finance with experience in credit and legal documentation. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Must have an understanding of tax returns, financial statements, entity documentation, bank statements, financial regualtions, credit reporting laws and practices, financial products, collateral lien perfection, negotiation , and excellent communication skills.
Must possess judgment with respect to appropriateness of tax filings, financial statements, entity types, financial products as related to financiang needs, financial regulations and Citibank policy (i.e. definition of a complete package, number of years of financials based on products requested amount, and time of year, etc.).
Be computer savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
