Kforce CTI Middleware Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Irving, Texas

Kforce has a client that is seeking a CTI Middleware SME in Irving, Texas (TX).Key Responsibilities:

  • As a L3 support, resolve issues efficiently and quickly

  • Address existing infrastructure gaps between deployments and company policies and standard, suggest and drive appropriate deployment strategies to minimize risk of business service outage

  • Participate in strategic planning, architecture and deployment of supported Middleware technologies across CTI DC infrastructure and environments

  • Assist with tasks relating to all aspects of Service Delivery

  • BAU support and the delivery of a range of critical Business and Technology driven projects through the installation, support, and management of DataPower policy, API management policies, Web based application and Middleware products

  • Play a proactive role in process improvement within the team

  • Ongoing evaluation and analysis of current supported Infrastructure to ensure optimum performance across the environments

  • Review, support and ensure quality of Middleware or Middleware related change requests.

  • Delivery of assigned tasks within the scheduled time and to a high quality

  • Contribute to all the team's commitments regarding problem and incident management, controls and adherence to company policies on compliance and security

  • Encourage a service delivery ethic within the team and adherence to the Company Operations and Technology Operating Principles

  • Manage standards and implement quality control across processes, services, reporting and customer engagement

  • Knowledge of IBM DataPower appliance XI50/XI52, IDG, XC10, API Portal, SOAP/REST, WS-security, WSP, MPG, and XLST

  • UNIX/Linux and Wintel based middleware technologies, such as IIS, DotNet, Java, varieties of authentication services, SSH, and SunOne server; good understanding of Firewall, Load Balancer, DNS and L3 network devices; in-depth knowledge of SSL handshake, public key security

  • Analytical skills from network layer to application layer

  • Ability to analyze packet captures

  • Strong understanding and demonstrable experience of supporting complex, high-availability services within a financial service environment is required

  • Experience of working in a large Data Centre environment

  • Experience of interacting with a wide range of teams and individuals at all levels

  • Proven track record of trouble shooting and problem solving in a pressured environment

  • Familiarization with customer service techniques and the principles of ITIL

  • A good team member, able to guide/support colleagues and to take guidance where necessary

Skills: In depth knowledge of the following technologies supported by the team:

  • Fluently speak and write Spanish language

  • Ability of troubleshoot issues within complex environments using NetScaler and F5 load balancing products

  • Basic UNIX Shell Scripting and Windows scripting

  • Experience of certificate management techniques (e.g. openssl, keytool, and certutil)

  • Ability to lead tasks and strategic initiatives, co-coordinating staff or working alone
