In this role, the recruiter is responsible for providing the highest level of staffing services in support of Parallon Dallas Shared Services Center. This position delivers high quality qualified candidates, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers and candidates. This position will draw on sourced leads, interacting with potential short-term and long-term networks of candidates, and the use of traditional recruitment techniques.
Key Responsibilities: * Reviewing vacancies, clarifying requirements, and checking files for qualified applicants * Assisting in preparing advertisements * Understanding competitive trends and recommending innovative recruitment strategies * Participating in job fairs, career days, and open house opportunities for applicants * Assisting with the advertising budget and suggesting approaches to employment advertising * Assisting to ensure that recruitment programs are in compliance with government laws and regulations * Developing recruiting contacts with employment agencies and placement offices * Screening, interviewing, and referring qualified applicants to supervisory staff * Obtaining references and transcripts * Recruiting and assisting all in-house recruits * Evaluating turnover and identifying retention problems * Maintaining established policies, procedures, and objectives * Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement” * Other duties as assigned

Working knowledge of aggregators such as Simply Hired, Indeed and Jobster Distance learning knowledge and tools a plus
EDUCATION * Bachelors degree in related field preferred, or commensurate experience
EXPERIENCE * Three (3) years experience in recruitment; revenue cycle or healthcare recruitment experience preferred * Knowledge of Taleo applicant tracking system preferred
QUALIFICATIONS * Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions * Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email * Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases * Current knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations * Able to interface with all levels of staff and management * Knowledge of recruitment and equal employment opportunity practices and theories * Knowledge of recruitment and retention principles and theories * Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and the public * Skill in analyzing recruitment and equal employment opportunity areas * Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and legal requirements
