International Credit (“IC”) is responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of off-shore credit related banking products for US Commercial Bank clients with operations outside the United States.
IC is organized by geography, with three (3) International Specialists (“IS”) responsible for Latin America, APAC, and EMEA.In addition to having a regional International specialty, each IS will be responsible for the coverage of a dedicated US territory.The International Specialist collaborates with parent account managers (PAM) in the U.S. to identify new International opportunities for off-shore subsidiaries of existing and prospective US CCB clients. To this end, the (IS) is the subject matter expert within the US CCB, with well-informed and up-to-date views on macro and micro economic trends, fiscal, political, regulatory and legal trends impacting US CCB clients and/or transaction execution, and an in-depth knowledge of Citi’s global network and related capabilities. To ensure transactions are structured and executed in a prudent, timely and efficient manner, the (IS) will own the end to end process and is responsible for managing internal stakeholders in both the US CCB and the CCB and ICG’s organizations overseas. The role also requires active and direct communication with client and prospect management teams (CFOs and Treasurers), both locally and, in certain cases, overseas.
The IS will manage all CCB deal flow from the US to the Asia, EMEA, and LATAM region and will be responsible for the origination, structuring, implementation and execution of off-shore credit related banking products for US CCB clients with subsidiaries in the assigned region. The IS will report directly to the International Credit Head (the “IC Head”) and can be based in Dallas, Chicago, or New York.
·Partner with Overseas CCB, US based GNI and US based MMR segment heads and parent account managers in the development of targeted account calling strategies for the LATAM, EMEA, or APAC CCB markets.
·In collaboration with the US Parent Account Manager (PAM), the IS will serve in a dual coverage capacity, to ensure that the needs of both the client / prospect and other internal stakeholders for all overseas credit related matters to ensure that both Approving Unit (AU) and Extending Unit (EU) are in sync.
·Provide senior level deal support to IC’s credit execution team to ensure transactions are executed properly in an efficient manner.
·Serve as the primary interface between the US CCB (Approving Unit) and the Global CCB team (Extending Unit).
·As the Subject Matter expert for the region/corridor, the IS will be responsible for training and updating the GNI and MMR Relationship managers regarding regional Political, Economic, regulatory and cross lending changes that could impact the US parent company.
·Partner with the ICG Global Subsidiaries Group to deliver credit products and services in out of footprint areas when appropriate.

·Deep knowledge of Citi’s global network of CCB and ICG product offerings and capabilities, with particular expertise in the LATAM, EMEA, or APAC markets.
·Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in one of the major International markets for an international banking institution in a credit and/or client coverage role.
·Experience in the origination, structuring and execution of credit related banking products in LATAM, EMEA, or APAC regions including the structuring of bilateral and syndicated credit agreements.
·The IS will need to have a firm understanding of the following:

·Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
