The Data Center Strategy / Colocation Analyst position within the colocation function will be responsible for developing consice decision support analysis and other monthly and quarterly tracking to support the datacenter strategy and management of the co-locations To meet these objectives, the candidate must effectively use all available technical and non-technical resources within the best practice standards. The ability to maintain an understanding of the functional balance between the operation coordination and specialization roles is critical.

Finance / Analysis (3 to 5+ years of accounting and audit experience. Some Finance and IT experience is helpful.)
·Coordinate strategic support for budget planning, analysis and identification of opportunities within various disciplines.
·Have the ability to plan for projects and initiatives by identifying risks and assumptions.
·Develop and maintain chargeback methodology, provide feedback to business for ad hoc chargeback requests.
·Follow up and escalate any issues regarding payments or billing to the correct entities driving the problem to a suitable resolution.
Strategy (2+ years of strategy/ re-eingineering work)
·Support ongoing analysis of datacenter portfolio.
·Indepth option analysis to support the Datacenter Strategy 2.0 effort, developing complex financial analysis into consice management recommendation communications.
·Posses ability to apply sound financial principles to support technology projects.
·Regular reporting to meet the requirements of the various stakeholders in the DCS 2.0
Operations (2+ years of operations experience.)
·Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business reports as well as adhoc analysis as required.
·Knowledge of PC software applications.
·Interpret complex corporate contract language, company policy and financial requirements with vendor relationships.
·Manages purchasing, shipping, and smarthands orders for Colocations.
Vendor Management (3 to 5+ years of audit, legal, or controls experience. Some Accounting and IT experience is helpful.)
·Responsible for the review, analysis, and monitoring of procedural documentation for ESRM CASP activities.
·Function as a BAO Support person in the new ESRM construct.
·Ensure and support controls requirements within vendor relationships.
·Manage vendor relationships as required, tracking vendor deliverables.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES (WHAT WILL “SUCCESS” LOOK LIKE IN 12 MONTHS)
After twelve months in this position, the Data Center Strategy / Colocation Management Analyst will be proficient in datacenter principles, capacity metrics and indepth strategy evaluation. He/she will be able to act independently and manage day-to-day activity supporting the colocations, i.e. audit logs, chargebacks etc.. He/she will be able to execute medium to complex request activity and medium size projects.
KEY CHALLENGES (WHAT IS THE WORK/MARKET ENVIRONMENT)
The colocation / datacenter strategy environment requires the ability to analyze complex financial options and communicate to senior management in consice decision supporting maner. This job will requires balancing daily/monthly/quarterly activities with complex ad hoc analysis to support the datacenter strategy.

Candidate must possess a college diploma in finance/accounting/engineering or equivalent work experience.
The ability to prepare documentation with oral/written skills is a must.
3+ years of analytical skills with some project management experience
3 to 5+ years of accounting and audit experience. Some Finance and IT experience is helpful.)
2+ years of strategy/ re-eingineering work
