Kforce Junior Data Engineer in Irving, Texas

Kforce has a client seeking a Junior Data Engineer in Irving, Texas (TX). Scope & Responsibilities:This position will be a key contributor to driving quantitative insights and data driven decision marketing across all networks and segments in the South Region. The South Region includes operations in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. The selected candidate will work closely with data science team and business stakeholders to drive excellence in reporting and deliver insights to grow the business. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, South Region.Essential Functions:

  • Extract, combine and manipulate data located in the relational data repositories and structured/unstructured datasets

  • Interpret and develop insights and trends from the data. Evaluate source data to determine accuracy

  • Work in a complex data environment comprising enterprise data warehouse, several additional databases and 3rd party data sources

  • Manipulate large data sets and navigate a variety of servers, data types, and data structures to complete statistical and other analyses

  • Maintain and enhance a portfolio of standardized reports and dashboards and when necessary create new reports

  • Run monthly and quarterly marketing, customer profile and product portfolio reports

  • Support ad-hoc reports based on requests from business stakeholders

  • Support marketing managers and directors by providing quantitative data on performance of marketing campaigns and through the translation of raw data into consumer insights and trends

  • Assess, analyze and manage 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data in order to facilitate the compilation of marketing lead lists used for online and offline direct tactics

  • Build predictive, segmentation, response and attrition models to support marketing activities as needed

  • Quantitative, results and data oriented mind set; Likes to look at data and figure out what it says

  • Dedicated and self-motivated able to work independently with limited supervision

  • Ability to multi-task projects and function under pressure in a deadline oriented environment

  • Highly organized and detail oriented - double and triple check results before finalizing

  • Ability interact with teammates and business stakeholders of all levels

  • Ability to troubleshoot existing database application
