Must haves to qualify for the role:

  • Experience containerization such as Docker, cgroups etc is a MUST

  • Experience with cluster scheduling with systems such as Mesos, Kubernetes and CoreOS

  • Solid scripting abilities in either Bash, Perl or Python

  • Exposure to several of the following infrastructure components: Cassandra, Mongo, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, Spark


  • Solid understanding of the Linux Operating System

  • Ability to script in Bash, Perl or Python

  • Understanding of networking technologies including sub-netting, firewalls and VPNs

  • Understanding of and experience with high-availability distributed systems

  • Work with Operations Center to provide excellent uptime.


  • DevOps and software infrastructure engineers can only be considered for this role

  • Deep understanding of the Linux Operating System

  • Solid networking experience

  • Programming skills in bash, python, java; functional programming a plus

  • Exposure to several of the following infrastructure components: Cassandra, Mongo, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, Spark

  • Containerization of applications using Docker

  • Experience with Mesos, Marathon, Chronos and/or Kubernetes

  • AWS experience a plus

  • Strong troubleshooting skills; ability to debug complex systems

  • Data Center service reliability mindset

  • Focus on automatic recovery and failover as well as automated non-disruptive infrastructure upgrades

  • Preferred Educational Requirement - Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science o Network Engineering
