The Digital Marketing and Channels (DMC) team within Citi Retail Services is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of digital capabilities to accelerate and more efficiently deliver on goals in support of 20+ retailer partnerships. DMC has delivered an industry-leading, award-winning mass-customization acquisition and servicing platform leveraging modular components and responsive design. This creates challenges and opportunities to enhance the utilization of Adobe Marketing Cloud analytic technologies to optimize and personalize customer journeys.

This role will report into the Digital Product Performance and will be responsible for expanding strategic data capture and reporting capabilities, drawing conclusions, providing insights, and making recommendations based on a strategic understanding of customer site engagement via Adobe Analytics tools. Tealeaf experience considered is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of institutional reports including reporting automation, dashboard layout, visualization, exports, graphs, insights, and delivery methods.

  • Evaluate web analytics and other data, surfacing the most relevant information and insights, to assist our partners in achieving their objectives.

  • Provide ongoing reporting--seeking insights and recommendations that lead to change, not simply reporting on what has occurred.

  • Evaluate data capture mechanisms--Specify changes to analytics implementations in order to optimize the data being captured as needed.

  • Work closely with development team in defining, implementing, and testing analytics code on new and existing pages.

  • Define, produce, and maintain reports and dashboards for key stakeholders (business owners) that provide actionable, solutions-oriented metrics, insights, and recommendations that lead to audience, traffic, and conversion growth. Train business unit colleagues to interpret these reports.

  • Provide thought leadership to data visualization and ways to standardize across a global environment.

  • Provide thought leadership in the integration of industry standard metrics into existing framework

  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and work in a fast-paced environment with many initiatives

  • Educate and evangelize the value proposition of digital analytics


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital analytics team with experience in BI, visualization and storytelling

  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience

  • Expertise in Adobe Analytics tools (Site Catalyst, Discover and/or Data Workbench. Report Builder) required

  • Experience developing dashboards and reports

  • Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills

  • Ability to identify and interpret patterns, trends and anomalies in data

  • Ability to handle several multi-faceted projects at once

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration skills; great attention to detail

  • Experience developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with the business and technology departments that drive business results, including the ability to translate between technical and non-technical people

  • Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment

  • Tealeaf experience considered a big plus

Business Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology or related field.

  • At least 3-5 years of analysis experience within financial, retail or technology industries.

  • Experience with and a detailed understanding of website and mobile platforms (digital products), especially in the area of online self-service, acquisitions and advertising

  • In-depth understanding of software development life cycle utilizing both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
