This role is responsible for supporting the on-going development and configuration needs of the US Pharmaceutical instance of Salesforce.com. The support provided is within a team of administrators tasked with ongoing configuration of the existing Salesforce.com technology environment comprised of 800+ Salesforce.com users. This role is also responsible for engaging successfully with and delivering sales tools and technology to the sales force network, resulting in increased selling time and profitable sales growth.
The successful candidate will not just be a task-oriented person, but someone who creates the task list.
The Salesforce.com Administrator position maintains responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and subsequent change management relative to the Salesforce.com software platform by applying knowledge of the applications functionality and client business requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. After implementation, the Administrator will be responsible for supporting the platform for the business unit and contributing to other various projects as required.
The position may provide project management guidance to project team, or make recommendations or actions to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.
4+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.
Salesforce.com Administrator Certification
2 years of work experience with Salesforce.com in an administrator capacity
Experience implementing Salesforce.com preferably in a large enterprise environment
Prior success in managing the product life cycle of sales force from defining business requirements to successful roll out.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners
Strong communication (written, verbal) and facilitation skills with business leaders at varying levels
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong problem solving and configuration skills.
Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Ability to be self directed and anticipate needs of the end customer with ability to translate those needs into technology
Sales operations related experience preferred
4-year degree in computer science, management information sciences or related field or equivalent experience
