Internal Audit is a global organization of over 1000 professionals covering Citi's global businesses and service to clients and customers in over 180 countries. Citi's Internal Audit division provides independent assessments of the company's governance, risk management and internal control environment for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, senior management and Citi’s numerous regulators globally. This role directs the timely delivery of high quality, value added assurance and audit reports for a portfolio of business activities, which meet the requirements of the Boards of Citigroup and Citibank, their affiliates, and of Citi’s respective regulators, globally.

QA partner to Technology, Change & Third Party (TCTP) Audit Lead
Support the QA Director for TCTP in fostering a strong QA partnership with the Chief Auditor for TCTP and the product Chief Auditors across all products and functions.
Liaise across the QA team to coordinate inputs from Product and QA Partners, to support pro-active interactions during QA reviews TCTP projects.
Carry out regular period scorecard reviews and share best practice and common pitfalls with relevant teams and provide focused training as and when needed.
Produce effective communication tools – briefing notes, newsletters, QA & Methodology updates.
Share best practice and common pitfalls with relevant teams and providing bite size training as and when needed, including hosting regional QA open forum conference calls.
Assist in the review and improvement of global Internal Audit methodology and practices through:
Drafting and presenting methodology documents, guidance notes and practice guides.
Developing and rolling out targeted methodology training.
Providing day to day support and guidance to auditors on methodology-related matters.
Share industry best practice, common pitfalls with teams and support global messaging. Prepare FAQs.
Assist TCTP Quality Assurance Director in review of completed risk assessments, Quarterly Refresh as part of Quarterly Business Monitoring and auditable entities.
Participate in QA Thematic Reviews including risk assessment, scoping, execution and reporting.
Participate pro-active “hot reviews”, audit report reviews, Internal Audit location reviews (site reviews), an efficient and effective scorecard evaluation and reporting mechanism, a continuous improvement program and other solutions to drive a best in class quality assurance function for a leading global financial services group.
Perform initial QA reviews of TCTP Internal Audit presentations for Audit Committees, Management Committees and stakeholder meetings including BRCC and CCO reporting.
Promote knowledge sharing and promulgation of best practices across IA and Citigroup.
Consult on and review responses proposed to Regulators by TCTP teams.
Validate completion of IA regulatory issues for TCTP.
Must have first-hand experience managing IT and/or Third Party audits in a top tier Investment Banking / Capital Markets firm.
Candidates should have at least 6 years of diversified financial management experience, ideally including experience in audit or a related field. Experience in working with international operations and teams. H/She should have a thorough knowledge of operations and control systems as well as an understanding of best-in-class audit methodologies. H/She must be proficient in risk and control analysis and audit concepts for a full range of products and specialized areas and will be skilled at analyzing root causes of problems and anticipating ‘horizon’ issues. Related certifications (CISA, ACA, CPA, CFA, Sigma 6 or CIA) are a plus.
The individual must be a strong, energetic individual with a proven track record in managing high-performance teams.
Candidates must have effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views. Strong presentation and relationship management skills are essential.
This individual must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an energetic, charismatic and approachable style. Candidates must have effective persuasion skills, the ability to work effectively at the highest levels of the organization, and will display highly effective networking and influencing skills. This person will be comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility.
