For more information email: Senior Network Engineer Duties include:

  • Plan and design network infrastructure and enterprise network solutions.

  • Troubleshoot, install, implement and administer network systems and provide Tier III support.

  • Analyze capacity issues and develop capacity planning models.

  • Ensure planned testing activities are executed and network security guidelines are developed.

  • Partner with architecture team to create and maintain architectural roadmap for Client's network and continuously and strategically plan for network improvements aligned with roadmap.

  • Maintain awareness of evolving network technologies, evaluate their alignment with network strategic plan, and manage implementation of network improvements and changes.

  • Analyze and monitor network performance and evaluate exceptions, patterns, and trends on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Validate network performance meets or exceeds applicable SLAs.

  • Manage critical incidents and network problems, participate in Root Cause Analysis work, and manage implementation of corrective action with appropriate sense of urgency to ensure critical issues are resolved in accordance with applicable SLAs.

  • Plan and execute IT changes which impact the network, communicate significant changes to stakeholders, and partner with providers and Client IT staff to ensure successful change management and execution.

  • Partner with security stakeholders to ensure network is appropriately secured by meeting Client requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead network projects, ensure specific commitment levels and due dates are met, and lead a team of two to three other engineers.

Requirements: Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field.

  • 7 years of experience as network engineer or related occupation working on enterprise-class environments with Cisco enterprise grade products, including Catalyst Series Switches, ISR Series Routers, IPSEC VPN & AnyConnect/Cisco VPN.

  • 4 years of experience with Nexus Series Switches, Nexus Fabric Extenders, ASA Firewalls, IPS/IDS, TACACS+, WebEx,

  • Advanced knowledge of IOS, NX-OS, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Routing Redistribution and GRE.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Unified Wireless networking, including 802.11a, b, g & n, LWAPP, CAPWAP, WCS, WLC and Aps, as well as Cisco CUCM and Cisco VoIP, including Call Manager, QoS & Unity.

  • 3 years of experience with Riverbed WAN Optimization Devices.

  • 3 years of experience with F5 Big IP Load Balancers.

  • Familiarity with server and storage virtualization, i.e. MDS switching infrastructure, VSAN, VRF, VPN, and VMWare vSphere.
