Position Summary and Essential Duties Under limited supervision, analyze and develop system requirements, program specifications and code/unit test to meet business requirements/specifications for large projects. Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels of testing and support test execution including system level and Integration tests. Frequently leads large projects. Resolve production problems of medium to high complexity. Provides guidance to those in less senior positions. The incumbents of this position are expected to perform all other related duties as assigned.

  • Experience in understanding the API architecture and delivering superior quality software as well as architectural deliverables meeting business and customer needs

  • Work with technical leads and architects to design and implement the features

  • Ability to work and negotiate with technical and non-technical coworkers to accomplish goals

  • Requires a passionate interest in keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate

  • Technology: Java, J2EE, Maven, REST, Jersey, Spring framework, Hibernate

This position can be domiciled in Irving, TX or Collierville, TN. Relocation assistance is available for Irving, TX only.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Considered a Plus

  • Strong design & development skills

  • Familiarity with REST API architectures and implementations.

  • Experience in working in an agile environment, specifically SAFe or another scaled scrum methodolog

  • Under limited supervision, analyze and develop system requirements, program specifications and code/unit test to meet business requirements/specifications for large projects.

  • Develop or contribute to deliverables for additional levels of testing and support test execution, including system level and integration tests.

  • Frequently leads large projects.

  • Resolve production problems of medium to high complexity.

  • Provides guidance to those in less senior positions.

  • Excellent communication skills and Ability to communicate effectively with team members, professionals, technical and support groups

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires five (5) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
