J ob Description: Supply Chain and Operations professionals house individuals who help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain. A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities: Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: 2 years of experience and management of high cost/high volume clinical or non-clinical spend categories working in a healthcare environment Minimum of 2 years of Health Supply Chain experience in one or more of the following: Project Management, Business Model Development, Business Performance Management, Procurement Transformation, Supplier Relationship Management, Procurement Performance Optimization, Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, Procurement Diagnostics and Strategic Planning Bachelor's degree It is our intention for our people to work where they live. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to utilize analytical skills and tools to derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources Ability to think critically and drive solutions Ability to interact with both internal and external team members with focus on deliverables while maintaining a positive work environment Ability to understand and work within political nature of different engagements Ability to nurture and mentor team members, represent their unique needs as appropriate Familiar with financial data contained in systems such as General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders or Freight Payments Experience in collecting, manipulating, interpreting and cleansing data from multiple and diverse sources Hands-on experience in multiple relational database platforms such as Access, MS SQL, Oracle SQL, etc. Professional Skill Requirements: Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Desire to work in non-standard, complex and challenging environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Analytical analysis with supply chain focus.
