Multiquip Inc. Shipping Associate in Lewisville, Texas

This position is responsible for performing the shipping functions as outlined below for power equipment products.

Rate: $13.00/hr DOE

Shift: M-F 7am - 3:30pm

  • Performs Shipping process to include small parcels (UPS, FedEx), skids (LTL) and larger flat-bed / direct to customer loads

  • Pulls, stages and prepares materials and paperwork

  • Must be able to communicate properly with levels of management

  • Basic knowledge of loading heavy equipment with forklift and over-head crane

  • Assists In developing and executing methods/procedures to improve Shipping/Receiving process

  • All other duties as assigned by Supervisor

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to operate forklift, stand-up forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Familiar with the use of hand tools, vertical saw, pneumatic nail gun & wrenches.


To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
