Texas Tech University Research Administrator I in Lubbock, Texas
Performs routine pre-award and/or post-award sponsored programs activities associated with management and oversight of the life cycle of awards.
- Assist faculty in preparing grant proposals; determines funding agency regulations and requirements; identifies errors and omissions and works with faculty to resolve in a timely manner
- Assists faculty in preparing grant budgets for projects with a total of > $250,000 direct costs (all years), and ensure compliance with TTUHSC policies and funding agency requirements
- Set up new funds
- Process budget revisions as needed for grant funds in the portfolio
- Works directly with individual department accountants for institutionally approved cost share account set up and transfers
Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience.
Coursework or experience related to grants and contracts administration. Experience in a medical institution preferred.
