Robert Half Technology Help Desk Analyst I in Mansfield, Texas

Interested candidates may apply directly to The Helpdesk Technician will work directly supporting local and remote staff on a wide array of technical issues. Under general supervision, providing the highest level of customer service, the Helpdesk answers incoming calls, emails and tracks all information in a ticketing system. Additionally, the technician will travel to our various locations as needed to provide an IT presence, offer direct support, and facilitate the work on various tasks and projects. Responsibilities of support include but are not limited to company supported computers, mobile devices, servers, phone systems, Microsoft and industry based 3rd party applications. Responsibilities:

  • First line of support fielding incoming calls, responding to emails, and opening tickets

  • Monitor and support the help desk ticket queue

  • Update customers and follow up on tickets in a timely fashion via email and phone calls

  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets or escalate higher tier problems to the proper support

  • Update and maintain asset inventory and personnel allocation

  • Diagnose and facilitate repairs of hardware

  • Install computer hardware (RAM, HDD, SSD, Power Supply, etc…)

  • Reimage and deploy repaired or new desktops and laptops

  • Install, update, and troubleshoot a variety of software

  • Setup and deploy employees with hardware and software including computers, mobile phones, accessories, and other position specific devices and access

  • Deploy and support printers, phones, switches, routers, and other hardware as needed

  • Run and terminate UTP cable

  • Assist the IT team as needed with projects and other tasks

  • Provide "on-call" support as needed on a rotation. Soft Skills:

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Education / Experience / Certifications Preferred:

  • High School Graduate, Associates Degree preferred

  • 3-5 Years Helpdesk Support in a hands-on capacity

  • CompTIA A+ Certification Required Experience
