Our MBA Leadership Development Program is a fast-track to either take an operational leadership role or a strategic, corporate role. You will have direct access to multiple leaders across the US and in the corporate office. The length of this program varies from when you start to when you manage a distribution center, but to put a time frame on it, let’s say up to 12 months to complete the corporate rotation and the branch training.

Starting work location might be where you live, somewhere else in the US or McKinney, TX for the corporate rotations. The geographic area is the 39 states where we have distribution centers and whichever states we acquire or open branches. The program includes working in a branch and learning all of the operations of a multimillion-dollar distribution center. The program will also involve working in multiple corporate environments such as; Finance and Accounting, Business Development, Marketing, Pricing, Fleet, Credit, Technology, and HR in a rotational program. During this time; projects, operational programs and processes, which you will have a key role in establishing and implementing will be determined, based on your skill set and what SRS’ needs are. You will be in the field and spend valuable time working at a branch somewhere in the US. A short time could be traveling with a Regional Controller, as well
Recent MBA or Master’s degree from a top or middle tier business/engineering school with a focus on Finance, Strategy, Operations, Business or Entrepreneurship. We prefer students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience and measurable achievements before or after your advanced degree.
An interest in operations and distribution as a career path.
Skills: computer, math, organization, time management, and communication skills.
Roles in leadership positions and/or teams in school and at work.
Flexibility with relocation-geographic area is the United States. Okay to have a regional preference.
Able and willing to lift building materials on occasion.
Have a valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, reliable transportation, are authorized to work for any employer without sponsorship in the US, and will pass criminal and driving background check with a pre-employment drug test.
