JobDescription: Applyknowledge and experience in optical engineering to provide development,integration and test support to the development of advanced optical imagingsensors and sensor sub assemblies. This may include performing flow downof subsystem level requirements to component specifications, criticalopto-mechanical alignments, testing and troubleshooting of refractive andreflective optical assemblies; analyzing line of sight and radiometric budgetallocations, testing laser parameters, and working with suppliers. Useyour ability to understand and troubleshoot optical test stations andrecommend/ implement repairs and upgrades as required to support productionneeds. Contribute to multiple programs as a technical resource. Work in a team environment and act as a lead for small group. US Citizenship required, as person will need to obtain a DoD Security Clearance within the first year RequiredSkills: 4+ years of related opticalengineering experience Direct, hands-on optical laboratoryand analytical experience Experience using autocollimators,theodolites, interferometers or other optical test equipment Experience with specifying componentand subsystem level requirements for suppliers Experience with optical alignment ofoptical systems.
