Raytheon T-X Trainer, Air Vehicle Program Director in McKinney, Texas

The T-X Trainer, Air Vehicle Program Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the T-X Air Vehicle program. This position is responsible for managing multidimensional program elements including all technical, financial and quality aspects and company investment IRAD activities. The Program Director must have an extensive understanding of earned value management to perform cost and schedule reporting, and provide regular briefings to Raytheon leadership and external customers. This position is responsible for maintaining close working relationship with both functional and program counterparts to develop, implement and manage product alignment strategies, as well as, be a direct interface with USAF and Sub-contractors. The Air Vehicle Program Manager will report to the T-X Program Director and will direct the progress of contractors in meeting program objectives assigned to provide early systems engineering and logistics approaches to define the T-X Systems. Deliverables responsible for include but not limited to; Sustainment Business Case Analysis, Cost Analysis Requirements Document, Integrated Master Plan and Schedule, Acquisition Strategy and Plan, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Logistics Master Plan, Systems Engineering Plan. The Air Vehicle Program Director is responsible for all systems integration and will need to be technically solid in Aircraft design and executing these types of programs Required Qualifications Minimum 14 years of combined working experience Program Management, Engineering Leadership, and/or Capture Management Proven strategy development, business capture, and proposal experience that resulted in top-line growth and strategic competitive wins ($100M+) Strong understanding and experience navigating international requirements such as: Export/Import Compliance, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and partnering with various U.S. Government agencies Experience interfacing with DOD, FMS program offices and International customers that procure from US based defense industry Experience working across diverse cultures, developing long-term successful relationships with international customers and adapting personal style and pursuit tactics for success in various international settings Experience managing complex development, transition to production and production programs Knowledge of radar/ RF systems, Avionics, Aircraft Integration Active DoD Secret Clearance Desired qualifications: Solid business acumen and working experience leading Aircraft integration and design programs Customer interface experience such as presenting program status utilizing business and project management tools as well as presenting compelling ideas on new products and capabilities Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics Desired Education: Master’s degree (MS, MA or MBA) is desired. 78165
