Allied Reliability Group Water Room Technician in Mesquite, Texas

Water plant technicians must be capable of taking measurements and interpreting that information to improve water quality. A career in water plant technology requires basic knowledge of federal and state water quality regulations. Water plant technicians work under the supervision of other water plant operators, and they must be able to efficiently take direction.

  • Need to be able to understand when pump sensors not working.

  • Knowledgeable on pressure effects on lipids and bio-membrane assemblies, need to be able to identify when sanitation is needed and then monitor for any situations.

  • Perform hands-on shop work and / or on-site disassembly, inspection, reporting, cleaning, and reassembly of pumps, and possibly other mechanical equipment.

  • On-site pump troubleshooting / assessment, maintenance, testing (pre / post), and / or repair of pumps, and other mechanical equipment

  • Ensure work and used materials are in compliance with manufacturer specifications.

  • Read and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly as required including completion of applicable quality documentation in either paper or electronic form.

  • Perform failure assessments and make recommendations as required.

  • Perform day to day and routine safety observations and inspections.
