The IT Manager - Paris is responsible for the overall management of IT at the Paris plant, including the management of 2 direct reports.

The role is responsible for the following functions at Paris plant:

  • Level 1, 2 and 3 support for IT issues

  • Execution of IT standards compliance

  • Capacity & disaster recovery planning

  • Preparation of process and procedure documentation

  • Project management for site based infrastructure/application roll outs

  • Managing onsite stakeholder relationships to ensure that the site's requirements are being met and proactively providing appropriate technology solutions to assist in process improvement

  • Partnering with site teams, mainly technical teams, to assist in plant projects

  • Active Directory management

  • Technical consulting for new initiatives

  • Support of scheduled IT audits

  • On-call support - there is requirement to provide 24x7 support to the site.

  • Vendor management where appropriate

  • Access Provisioning

  • Issue escalation management

Applications/Systems supported:

  • All user workstations and laptops at Paris

  • Site-based servers, file servers and Wonderware servers

  • Plant floor HMIs

  • RF technology: forklift computers, bar code scanners and bar code printers.

  • All network switches and wireless network devices

  • Desk and mobile phones

  • Printer/Photocopier support

*Job Specifications*

*Minimum education required: BS*degree in computer science or related field preferred or will consider equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

*Years of relevant experience:*5+ years of IT related experience

*Knowledge, skills and abilities required:*

  • 2+ years of experience managing IT technical staff
  • 5+ years of relevant IT operational support experience, preferably working in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical infrastructure role (e.g. server engineer, network engineer etc)
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Passion for customer service

*Skills Desired:*

  • VMware certification / other industry certifications and experience with building VM hosts and servers
  • Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Active Directory/WSUS/DNS/DHCP/Sites and Services/Terminal Services
  • Enterprise Storage / SAN
  • Backup technologies experience

*Working Conditions:*

Mostly a traditional office setting. Some interaction with employees in plant manufacturing and warehouse environment will be necessary. The role requires 10-15% travel, mostly to the Campbell HQ in Camden, NJ.
