Job Specific Description:

JUNO is a platform that supports order entry for Multiple lines of business. Within the JUNO platform there are couple of Internal websites that are used by the Financial advisors to place orders. JUNO also interacts with various internal/external systems to source data. JUNO owns couple of SQL server database servers.

JUNO developer needs to have hands on experience in web development/core java with expertise in Multi threading/collections. The developer also needs to have good exposure on various messaging APIs

and good database programming experience. The developer also needs to assist with Level 3 production support.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.


Required Skills:

Very strong java programming skills

WEB Spring MVC (or struts), JSP, HTML/DHTML, Ajax, Javascript, JSTL, JSON, Prototype.

Server Java, J2EE, Spring-Core,Web Services. SOAP, XML, UML

Ant, Maven, RMI

Web/App Servers Apache httpd, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat

OS Linux, Solaris, Windows and Unix Shell scripting

Fundamental understanding of RDBMS and database design applications.

Strong SQL, Stored Procedure, Database (Sybase/MS SQL Server) Performance Tuning skills

Messaging experience (MQ, Tibco RV, RFA)

JMX, Ant Maven


Cross asset fixed income knowledge.
