A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a BI Center of Excellence Director to join our team in Plano, TX.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Back Office Systems, the Director/Sr. Director will be responsible for delivering robust and responsive analytical and self-service reporting capabilities to the NTT Data business community through development and management of the BI Center of Excellence. The position has overall responsibility for the strategy, architecture, development and ongoing support and enhancement of an enterprise data warehouse platform based on SAP BI. In addition, the position includes the following components:

  • Key resource on the Enterprise Back Office Systems Leadership Team

  • Partners with the business to build out the enterprise BI vision and strategy for NTT Data

  • Transforms our existing ERP-focused reporting platform into a scalable architecture across key dimensions including multi-system support, role based security, self-service capability and responsive development and turnaround times

  • Creates the reporting leadership council and governance to continue to drive our BI capabilities across the business and IT

  • Creates the BI Super User group to help foster key experts and drive experience in the business around reporting, analytics and KPIs

  • Creates a roadmap for continuous improvement and drives the BI specific software development lifecycle process

  • Drives alignment with other business and IT organizations as it relates to the NTT Data BI and SAP roadmaps

  • Plays a significant role to influence and manage related initiatives including enterprise data management and data governance

  • Manages, establishes, and builds a team of onshore/offshore internal resources including architect level resources, data modelers, BI developers and business facing reporting analysts

  • Completes performance and talent management for the entire BI COE

  • This Sr./Director will reside in the US and will occasionally travel within the US and India.

  • Must have significant experience managing and establishing an SAP BI COE

  • 10+ years of related IT/Business Intelligence and analytics work experience including design, deployment, and systems lifecycle development management

  • 12+ years of leadership experience in managing cross functional teams and direct management of teams (functional and technical)

  • Demonstrated experience initiating and leading enterprise BI and/or data warehouse initiatives

  • Relatable experience to the data warehousing and integration needs stemming from M&A activity

  • Hands-on experience with BI and large scale data warehousing methodologies and technologies

  • Must have a proven track record of working with Senior and C-level executives to determine analytics data requirements and implementing systems to warehouse and retrieve key business information

  • Experience with integrating non-SAP data into an enterprise data warehousing (e.g. SalesForce, SuccessFactors, legacy ERP, etc.)

  • Experience in Cloud BI and SAP HANA is a plus

  • Experience with the SAP reporting tool set including but not limited to Analysis for Office, Business Objects WEBI, Business Objects Design Studio and Lumira
