Job Specific Description

The Risk, Corporate and Treasury Technology (RCTT) team provides technology solutions to support the Chief Risk Officer, Secondary Marketing, Global Principal Investments, Corporate Treasury, and Enterprise Capital Management Organizations. The Risk technology teams calculates various risk metrics including Credit, Market and Liquidity Risk for the various LOBs within the bank, supports the Risk business to generate actionable insights and ensure that we stay within our Risk Limits. It also enables reporting of the data to various regulators and supports key regulatory mandates including Enterprise Stress Test and CCAR runs. The technology teams also support functions that manages the Bank’s capital and invests capital on behalf of the enterprise, manage earnings, liquidity and funding. It also supports the business that oversee mortgage servicing rights, pricing, hedging, trading and delivery of mortgage products

The resource needs to work collaboratively with multiple teams and clients across the globe. To create solutions by analyzing, implementing, and testing a system that generates the outputs required for the analysis, reporting and management of Wholesale Credit Risk via a common platform for the simulation and forward valuation of counterparty level exposures through time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Gather, Understand, Analyze Requirements and translate the same into Business Requirement Documents.

  • Explain the Requirements to the DEV team , create test plans.

  • Work closely with the DEV team , partner with QA, Support teams and take requirements to closure.

  • Ability to help manage software releases, and schedules, and to work closely with other Business Analysts and Project Managers to create the appropriate documentation that captures and moves Business needs forwards.

Enterprise Role Overview

Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.


Required Skills:

  • 8 – 10 years of industry experience.

  • Exposure to Risk Management.

  • Excellent Communication Skills : verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.

  • Experience in Credit and Wholesale risks.

  • Good understanding of limits, exposures, collateral, guarantee etc.

  • Basic SQL , Excel operations like Pivot, lookup etc.

  • Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, conducting hypotheses based analysis, creating business cases, evaluating and presenting solutions.
