Worldventures Marketing LLC PR Manager in Plano, Texas

The Public Relations Manager promotes good will and a positive image of WorldVentures Holdings’ brands to internal and external audiences. The PR Manager must be able to design and implement public relations strategies for multiple internal and external audiences, across all mediums. The right person for this role must be media savvy, thoughtful and organized. This position requires a strong background in media relations and an understanding of consumer needs and insights.


  • Develop PR strategies, campaigns and initiatives to improve public perception of company.

  • Create high quality PR content and materials; provide direction to the regions.

  • Works with Director and CMO to ensure businesses are prepared to manage issues or crisis situations. Manages media that may be detrimental to any of the company subsidiaries.

  • Identify relevant information (such as customer wins, new product announcements, key staff recruitment) that should be published externally through a press release or media alert.

  • Craft compelling and concise press releases and pitches with the ability to convert them into successfully placed news and featured stories.

  • Evaluate, monitor and report on PR effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain global media relationships; liaise with regional agency partners.

  • Draft and maintain up-to-date media kits.

  • Compile comprehensive information about the company for the media and field media questions.

  • Provide counsel, as appropriate, to social media team to respond to positive and negative feedback received via social media.

  • Stay abreast of PR, advertising and global communication trends.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.


  • Strong understanding of public relations strategies, tactics and reporting

  • Outstanding writer with the ability make the complex easy to understand

  • Extremely organized

  • The ability to communicate clearly across cultural boundaries

  • Excellent relationship building and management skills

  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments

  • Appreciative of confidentiality and discretion

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field

  • Non-profit experience a plus
