As a result of our continuing growth and success, Carrington Home Solutions is seeking a Property Preservation Vendor Relations Supervisor to join our team in Plano, TX!
The Vendor Relations Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of a team associates that perform the duties of the Vendor Management Department including but not limited to the following; the external Vendor Network, ensuring all Vendors are in compliance with company guidelines, client requirements and state and federal requirements. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Oversee the process for lead generation and vendor sourcing.
Conduct thorough due diligence to verity that vendor applicant can meet company guidelines and vendor requirements.
Articulate the company’s value proposition to a potential vendor and deliver marketing materials and work tools to those vendors.
Schedule regular communication with current and potential vendors.
Utilize internal controls and on-going monitoring to determine whether the vendor is complying with company guidelines and vendor requirements.
Take prompt action to fully address any problems identified.
Conduct on-going analysis of existing vendor network to assess capabilities of meeting current and future business objectives.
Create, assign, and distribute orders to vendors as necessary.
Review results of Quality Assurance/Audit findings, bring to the attention of Vendor Manager as appropriate and provide support to develop/execute action plans.
Provide support as needed for the vendor communications, scorecards, and relationship with the business units.
Research, validate, and provide findings for vendor extensions, charge-backs, and payment disputes to Vendor Manager.
Assist with initial training and re-training of vendors with order reviews.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) or more years of vendor management experience.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the mortgage field or quality control.
