Code, test, identify, implement and document technical solutions to business challenges utilizing web and related technologies.
Perform design and analysis for deliverables and may lead larger team design sessions.
Identify task associated significant development efforts.
Ability to lead discussions with business stakeholders, management, co-workers, operations, technical support, and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of systems and project delivery.
Research and stay current on best practices in the technology industry as well as emerging technology.
Facilitate technical decision making and represent the team direction to various stakeholders.
Mentor others and be seen as a leader on their teams and with their customers.
May provide recommendation towards simplification and efficiency of the business and technology environment. This takes into consideration costs, business needs, and system impacts.
May serve as a subject matter expert for a wide range of areas, applications, and technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of 5 years work experience. Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical field with 2 years of experience is also acceptable.
.Net Development Skills (C# or VB.Net)
SQL Server or Oracle
Microsoft Visual Studio
Core Web Technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, XML
SQL Data Persistence & ORM tools
Web Services Development and Integration with SOAP,WCF and REST
Experience in working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban Environment
Experience with continuous integration, unit testing & mocking frameworks
Mobile App Development and Mobile Web Experience
Experience with continuous delivery and/or DevOps tools like Jenkins, Docker, etc…
Normal office environment
