Responsibilities

  • Codes, test, identify, implement and documents technical solutions to business challenges utilizing web and related technologies.

  • Perform design and analysis for deliverables and may lead larger team design sessions.

  • May provide recommendation towards simplification and efficiency of the business and technology environment. This takes into consideration costs, business needs, and system impacts.

  • Researches and stays current on best practices in the technology industry as well as emerging technology.

  • May serve as a subject matter expert for a wide range of areas, applications, and technologies.

  • Provides effort estimates for large projects.

  • Facilitates technical decision making and represents the team direction to various stakeholders.

  • Mentors others and is seen as a leader on their team and with their customers.

  • Leads discussions with clients, management, co-workers, operations, technical support, and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of systems and project delivery.

  • Other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.

  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.

  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience. Minimum of 5 years work experience. Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical field with 3 years of experience is also acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Visual Studio, WebStorm IDE, Eclipse/Rational IDE, or NetBeans IDE experience

  • .Net Development Skills (C# or VB.Net)

  • Core Web Technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, XML

  • JavaScript and one or more leading RIA frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Knockout

  • Bootstrap experience or material design

  • SQL and Data Persistence Approaches

  • Web Services Development and Integration with SOAP and REST

  • Experience with ESB technologies and Messaging Oriented Middleware

  • Mobile App Development and Mobile Web Experience is a plus

  • Experience with TypeScript is a plus

  • Agile Development Experience such as Scrum or Kanban

Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications including the extent of his/her relevant experience and other job related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
