Raytheon Sr Financial Analyst in Plano, Texas

GBS Finance provides financial transaction and analytical support services across a growing portfolio of disciplines to include accounts payable, general ledger, travel & expense, compliance, payroll, labor accounting, contract setup, and billings. The position will support and lead challenging projects requiring complex problem resolution, creativity, and effective time and resource management to meet critical project milestones through gated processes. The position will work closely with shared service team leads, team members and business stakeholders to help identify, develop and promote key initiatives in support of global operations. Project efforts will require significant interaction with key stakeholders: Treasury, Raytheon’s SAP Competency Center (technical development team), Raytheon’s business-to-business electronic file transition team, third party service providers and various banking institutions. This position must remain aware of changes in technology, best practices, rules, regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the technological needs of the organization are met. This position can be a salary grade level A03 (Sr. Financial Analyst) or A04 (Principle Financial Analyst) based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and responsibility requirements for the position. Typical activity includes but is not limited to: · Project Management and Leadership: business case development, project schedule development and resource management, supervisory, advisory and technical expertise for process staff and stakeholder teams. · Continuous Improvement: six sigma specialist/green belt project facilitation; process mapping, engineering and optimization; root cause analysis and error reduction; workload balancing, etc. · Financial/Data Analysis: cycle time, error rate, workflow and throughput, disbursements, reconciliations, etc. · Change Management/Training: business processes and system/technology · Business Applications Configuration: gathering and drafting end-user requirements for IT application development including program logic, user interfaces and reporting tools. Required Skills & Experience: · 4 years of experience to include project management, business analytics, & continuous improvement project work · Effective resource management, team leadership, and stakeholder relationship development · Strong change management planning, communication, and execution skills · Business case development · Ability to develop and deliver communications (e.g. presentations, memos, white papers) to multiple levels (including executive) in the organization · A self-starter with the ability to take initiative, take ownership of assignments, and work both independently and collaboratively · Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced setting · Knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word Desired Skills, Experience & Education: · Experience in a leadership capacity with confidence and the ability to make sound decisions in critical business situations and the capacity to sift through complex information to focus on the critical priorities · Experience in a shared service organization with exposure to consolidation activity · Demonstrated understanding and development of performance metrics, service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) · Experience Developing marketing and sales material to promote services, initiatives and key messages for effective business strategy execution · Six Sigma Specialist/Green Belt or Expert/Black Belt Certification · Masters’ in Business Administration Required Education (including Major): · Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Finance/Accounting/Information Systems or related field 87848
