Within IT, Employee Tools and Technology is a new and small, but quickly growing, modern, fast-IT team that is focused on enterprise-wide services and solutions that support the entire employee population at EA.
Lead and own the vision, definition and plan for the continuous evolution of an Enterprise/Corporate Intranet solution to meet the needs of EA staff and its partners.
Act as an emissary for the Enterprise/Corporate Intranet within EA
Work with key business stakeholders, executives, business leaders and teams throughout the global organization to ensure the solution meets their current business needs and continues to evolve as these change.
Work with engineering teams to ensure the solution being developed meets the agreed design and solves the agreed business uses cases.
Resolve disputes and make tradeoff decisions between business needs, technical capabilities, features, timelines, and benefits
Prioritize features and functions against budget and available resources and demand.
Represent IT in steering committees and executive briefings
Provide timely and regular updates on current state and plans for the solution.
Stay on top of technology changes within Enterprise/Corporate Intranet solutions and share your knowledge with others.
Expert knowledge of Enterprise and Corporate Intranet Solutions
8 to 10 years’ experience within this solution space.
Through previous experience, demonstrable delivery of Enterprise/Corporate Intranet Solutions for companies of a similar scale to EA
Motivated to constantly learn and pass the knowledge along to others
Be able to provide examples of a high level of creativity and problem solving
Experience of working within an Agile Development Framework
Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Search technologies would be an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
