Texas Capital Bank (TCB) is hiring a Senior Network Operations Analyst to work in an exciting and fast-paced IT Network Team. This team works with proven Network, Security, and Telephony software and hardware systems, and supports Datacenter and office locations. This position requires 24/7 uptime and precise attention to detail. As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining the operations of these environments. You will be required to understand application and hardware points of failure, performance characteristics, and have the ability to identify actionable items to maintain an acceptable service level for all associated environments and applications. You will be required to participate in an on-call rotation and serve as top-level support for network related issues. This position participates in the 24x7x365 on-call rotation and the individual understands the rigors and challenges of working in an Enterprise IT department.

  • Provide Cisco ASA configuration, management, validation and support

  • Provide LAN/WAN switching and routing support and configuration

  • Provide Cisco VPN configuration and support for end users

  • Monitor and analyze network and voice performance and provide reports on a regular basis

  • Maintain and update telecom infrastructure including but not limited to Cisco ASA, Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K, Cisco ISE , Cisco ACS, Cisco Client VPN access, F5 load balancers, Riverbed WAN Optimization, Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points, Solarwinds, and packet tracer/analyzer software

  • Management of Internet security and content filtering applications

  • Prepare and follow detailed documentation, standards and guidelines for data network and voice system procedures

  • Take corrective action to improve data network or voice performance; travels to off-site locations to perform related work

  • Provide assistance and knowledge transfer to various IT departments on data network and voice related functions

  • Respond to emergency situations and can performs effective troubleshooting during a production outage

  • Provide completion of daily telecom activities and tasks

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years of data network support experience required

  • Must have strong knowledge of Cisco ASA command line interface

  • Must have strong knowledge of Cisco NX-OS command line interface

  • Must have strong knowledge of Cisco IOS command line interface

  • Experience with Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K switch management and configuration required

  • Experience with NX-OS configuration for SAN FCoE required

  • Experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols required

  • Experience with Cisco UC voice systems or other equivalent VoIP voice system strongly preferred

  • Data Center experience regarding DR and failover testing strongly preferred

  • Ability to make good judgments, decisions, negotiate and problem solve

  • Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical information to non-IT personnel

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the clients computing environment

  • Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving end-user issues

  • Efficiently and effectively solve problems regarding system errors or usage issues

  • Must be able to minimize downtime by rapidly diagnosing and resolving problems

  • Ability to track and document information regarding troubleshooting techniques

  • Maintain a high level of teamwork and communication

  • Ability to participate in 24 hour on-call rotation

  • Ability to perform after-hours work for scheduled maintenance and unscheduled issue resolution
