The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full lifecycle recruiting focused in our corporate functions across all divisions and US locations. This individual will maintain strong relations with business leaders, hiring managers, HR business partners, external contacts and candidates. You will develop and execute a recruiting plan focused on identifying “A Player” Talents, leveraging traditional recruiting strategies while also developing new and creative sourcing ideas. You will build an understanding of business/organizational challenges while driving innovative recruitment solutions that support the growth of HARMAN.
This position does not have any direct reports.
Serve as a key recruiter for the Corporate Functions Talent Acquisition team supporting client groups in HR, Sales/Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, IT
Pro-actively identify qualified candidates through multiple sources, including employee referrals, social networking sites, alumni, internal transfers, networking, etc.
Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Manager to develop and implement plans for sourcing and recruiting strategies, paying particular attention to HARMAN’s Diversity & Inclusiveness initiatives
Provide regular updates to hiring managers, HR business partners, Talent Acquisition leaders and other stakeholders as appropriate on pipeline development and progress of candidates
Manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing candidate qualifications to negotiating offers and managing pre-employment requirements and onboarding
Build long-term relationships with potential candidates and key industry contacts
Master the use of recruiting tools and technologies (SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, etc.) to remain at the forefront of talent acquisition
Gain a solid understanding of HARMAN’s recruitment tools, processes, protocols, best practices and business
Integrate HARMAN’s brand strategy into all recruitment activity
Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview documentation and data in applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors)
Proactively escalate complex recruitment challenges as needed
Share competitive market intelligence with hiring managers and recruiting team
Recommend and implement improvements to recruitment processes
Participate in recruiting projects as needed
Embrace new technology, tools and processes that are rolled out to the broader recruiting community
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years full lifecycle recruiting experience; with at least 1 year on the corporate side
Strong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with internal clients
Experience managing the recruitment process via an Applicant Tracking System
Core knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practices
Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of HARMAN’s recruitment policies, process and protocols
Recruiting experience within the Automotive and/or Hi-Tech industries
Ability and flexibility to recruit across a variety of functional roles
Willingness to travel 5% for recruiting events
Willingness to work in an office in Richardson, TX
