RN Medical/Surgical – Weekender RN, Round Rock
We are looking for RNs to work in one of our Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg)units.
Our Med/Surg (Medical and/or Surgical) RNs treat many conditions – from flu and pneumonia to knee or hip replacement recovery. At Baylor Scott & White Health, we need our Med/Surg RNs to provide the most compassionate care for our patients and their families by being knowledgeable of various medication treatments and recovery processes. Ideal Med/Surg RN candidates will have a BSN, some hospital or acute care experience and great communication skills.

- ASN or equivalent required; BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
- CPR/BLS is required.
Coordinates and provides nursing care including the assessment, education, counseling and treatment of patients and delegating nursing care to others as appropriate. Works cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient team personnel and maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Weekend schedules begin at 6:45pm on Friday and 7:15am on Monday.
