Laboratory Technician / San Angelo, TX
Kelly Scientific Resources is currently seeking candidates for a 2nd Shift Laboratory Technician. This position will support temporary project with a medical device in San Angelo, TX.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Perform analytical testing equipment and compiles data for Completion Reports Performs raw material, in-process and/or finished goods tests and reviews. Assures optimum control of quality so that raw material and/or finished products conform to existing requirements, standard operation procedures, and governmental regulations and adheres to all Quality Systems Requirements (QSR) and ISO standards. Inspects, tests and/or evaluates the precision and accuracy of products, and/or testing equipment. Monitors and reviews environmental charts and/or numeric data. Able to work in an environment with chemicals safely. Ensure test equipment used in the laboratories are properly calibrated and repaired according to standard operating procedures, including review of equipment maintenance log books and vendor calibration and maintenance documentation.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Follows current compliance regulations and standards and all federal regulated programs Ensures safe working conditions and practices in the department Carries out calculations and prepares documentation that shows the results of tests performed Works with high level of self-motivation from little or no documentation, instruction or guidance
High School or GED AS or BS degree in Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology or related field, preferred Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software recommended
