Account Specialist 3 (position level: C04)

Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Determines the best response to the most complex customer inquiries by making decisions based on past practices/precedence. Interprets, manages, and resolves full service written inquiries.

Acts as coach or partner to new hires/new team members.

Assists with decision process flow and resolves escalated issues.

Works under limited supervision.

May support an expansive array of products/services.

Demonstrates technical/administrative expertise.

Applies specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards, which are well defined.

Understands how duties relate with others in the team/unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing the work of the function.

This position does require some outbound customer contact.


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior work experience in a related job that would provide a basic knowledge activities, policies, and procedures of the work area.

  • Ability to calculate percentages, finance charges, reconcile accounts, and required account adjustments.

  • Data entry skills including 10-key by touch, preferred.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

  • Knowledge with CitiSmart, preferred.
