Account Specialist 3 (position level: C04)
Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Determines the best response to the most complex customer inquiries by making decisions based on past practices/precedence. Interprets, manages, and resolves full service written inquiries.
Acts as coach or partner to new hires/new team members.
Assists with decision process flow and resolves escalated issues.
Works under limited supervision.
May support an expansive array of products/services.
Demonstrates technical/administrative expertise.
Applies specialized functional area skills and basic knowledge including underlying professional/technical principles or standards, which are well defined.
Understands how duties relate with others in the team/unit and how the unit integrates with others in accomplishing the work of the function.
This position does require some outbound customer contact.
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior work experience in a related job that would provide a basic knowledge activities, policies, and procedures of the work area.
Ability to calculate percentages, finance charges, reconcile accounts, and required account adjustments.
Data entry skills including 10-key by touch, preferred.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Knowledge with CitiSmart, preferred.
