Interim Assistant Controller opportunity available for San Antonio manufacturing organization. This role is for an interim need but could possibly develop into a long term position. Will assist in preparation of financial reporting; will maintain internal controls; manage all aspects of the general ledger; will perform analysis and contribute to the budget process; and will be responsible for the supervision of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting departments. Will assist with process engineering and implementation of best practices. Will assist with federal and state tax research and sales and use tax filings.

Requirements: 3+ years of experience required at an assistant controller or accounting manager level. Must have advanced Excel skills and strong ERP experience. Strong understanding of internal controls required. Must be a problem solver--strong in research and remediation. Experience in acquisition integration of processes and systems preferred. Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
