Job Description

This position provides semi-skilled work performing carpentry tasks. Responsibilities include using power and hand tools in the construction, maintenance, and repair of structures, equipment, and articles made of wood.

Job Duty

Performs semi-skilled carpentry work in the construction, alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, walls, stairways, doors, windows, and other structures.

Percentage Of Time 40

Job Duty

Operates power saws, planers, jointers and hand tools. Selects wood, cuts to size, and sands the surface.

Percentage Of Time 20

Job Duty

Cleans, sharpens, and repairs hand, bench tools, and saws. Oils machines, and performs preventive maintenance work.

Percentage Of Time 15

Job Duty

Assists with estimates of time and materials required for a job. Will assist other trades as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.
