TASC an Engility Company is seeking a Cyber Analytic Support Specialist. The Cyber Analytic Support Specialist candidate is able to perform intelligence analysis of cyber related targets and technologies. This position is for an analyst who is a SME in special collection requirements and the associated collection management systems. The analyst will liaise between various organizations and primary target office to ensure collection requirements are met. These analysts are technical and are considered to be DNI analysts, they must be able to analyze network nodes (people and groups) and characterize those linkages and data flows.

Required Qualifications:

A CASS must have in-depth knowledge of digital networks and telecommunications methods. Candidate is able to demonstrate expertise with relevant CNO and SIGINT tools and databases used for the customer mission. Communications skills that include the ability to provide formal documentation of analysis and/or research results.

This position is heavy in SIGDEV and target development. Candidate should have 2-3 of the following qualifications, and the ability to pivot one skillset off of the other.

  1. Python/Perl scripting experience or programming experience in C/C++

  2. Experience with intrusion detection/malicious traffic analysis

  3. Knowledge of cryptographic routines/encryption/decryption and simple obfuscation techniques

  4. Data analytics

  5. High-level malware analysis/malware triage (or a minimum understanding of malware and victim interaction)
