SUMMARY

Leads efforts to assist in the completion of the annual plan. Consults with Internal Audit and Advisory Services teams as a subject matter expert (SME). Presents proposals where the use of analytics can be a differentiator to current and future engagements, including continuous monitoring/risk monitoring scenarios.

RESPONSIBILIITES

  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of business processes subject to audits/assessments. Stays informed of analytics solutions, and relevant standards that affect business processes.

  • Develops and delivers training to enhance analytics team skills in methodologies, software tools, ERP specific tools, business process knowledge, and professional development skills.

  • Provides supervisory support to the assigned staff, delivering substantive coaching and development to team members.

  • Performs work on complex technological areas or high risk audit/assessment areas.

  • Reviews and finalizes reports of findings to management. Ensures the review and evaluation of personnel performance following each significant engagement is in accordance with department guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in business, computer science or related field required.

  • Preferred designations include: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

  • Approximately 6 years of relevant audit/risk management experience with emphasis in data analytics.

  • Advanced understanding in the use of analytical or reporting tools such as ACL, SQL, Power BI or similar software.

  • Understanding of relational databases for reporting purposes.

  • Experience with SAP
