Job Summary:

Lead a portfolio of spacecraft and space system development programs across the full program life cycle. Responsibilities include technical innovation, R&D; investment guidance, technical roadmapping, staff development, project technical performance monitoring and control, and program execution. A significant aspect of this position is leading business development and capture activities across NASA, DoD and commercial space opportunities.


Requires a BS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field with at least a 3.0 GPA. Must have at least 15 years experience as a Program Manager for spacecraft development programs and/or management of a spacecraft engineering group. Applicants with experience in constellation design and attitude control system development will be given preference. The applicant must have a proven track record in promoting technology programs and business development, successfully leading capture efforts across commercial and US government clients, as well as effectively managing and executing those programs. A deep understanding of the space industry (both traditional and NewSpace) market place and competitive landscape at the spacecraft and mission level is important; demonstrated project management, technical team leadership and customer relationship development required; extensive Spacecraft design and development experience required. ACS design experience is a plus. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
