Job Description

Successful applicant will work with a team of educators under the OB/GYN department of the UT Health Science Center to provide culturally competent, medically accurate, age appropriate, and community based health education programming focusing on Bexar County.

Collaborate with the UTHSCSA UT Teen Health in creating teen friendly programming that promotes healthy decision making and positive youth development in and around schools and communities.

Percentage Of Time 20

Job Duty

Participate with organization’s administration to assess, select, and customize implementation of evidence based programs to youth.

Percentage Of Time 50

Job Duty

Meet and work with youth leadership council to generate ideas, feedback, and promote service learning activities.

Percentage Of Time 10

Job Duty

Network with community youth serving organizations and clinics to promote linkages to youth-friendly healthcare services, facilitate services to teens, and provide health education to community stakeholders including students, parents,teachers, and youth workers.

Other duties as assigned to further goals and mission of UTHSCSA UT Teen Health.
